So we created space... now what??

Letting go is hard.
But you know what can be even harder?
Receiving.
We live in a world that glorifies hustle, independence, and doing-it-all-yourself. So when you finally create space in your life, body, or mind… it can feel unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or even wrong. It can also feel incredibly vulnerable.
But that space you created? It’s not empty... it’s sacred.
It’s where healing, joy, peace, and clarity start to take root.
So this week, let’s explore four simple ways you can begin to receive, even if it’s a little uncomfortable at first.
1. Receive through the Body
Notice your breath. Let it move in and out, without control or restriction.
Soften into a yoga pose or let yourself rest without guilt.
Receiving looks like allowing your body to feel nourished and rested, not just used and worked.
2. Receive Emotionally
When comfort, joy, or ease show up, let them stay. Don’t explain them away or wait for the other shoe to drop.
Don't think you can't enjoy this moment because of difficult things going on currently or in your past.
Let yourself have that good moment. You deserve it.
You don’t have to earn every drop of peace.
3. Receive Energetically
Ask for help, or accept it when it’s offered. That’s not weakness. That’s connection.
Whether it’s a friend, a class, a practice, or a deep exhale—let your energy be supported.
We’re not meant to hold it all alone.
4. Receive Relationally
Next time someone offers a compliment, kindness, or support…Pause. Take it in.
Say thank you. And feel the soft power of simply receiving love.
No deflecting. No “oh, this old thing?” Just yes. Thank you.
What are you open to this week?
What are you ready to receive, even if it’s something small?
Let this be the week you stop filling every space and simply allow yourself to be in it.
You don’t need to earn what you already deserve.
